The VILLAGE is a place that seeks to -provide shelter to its inhabitants-
Common ELEMENTS that nourish the need to share a better environment through which evolution and progress occur. IDEAS AND ASPIRATIONS are the points of connection, the harmony of both in a community translates to HARMONY.
I can't think of another way to explain beauty except as the intimate achievement of a discourse - whether expressed in lines, forms, words, or spaces - that moves an environment. Through music, it could be perceived as "a way to reinvent silence," through architecture "THE REINVENTION OF SPACE."
When illusions are shared and the needs to address them are communicated in the same environment, the result tends to be evolutionary. Objectively and subjectively: when EMOTIONS ARE POETIZED, we call it art; when reasoning takes an observable and quantifiable form, we call it science. To harmonize both requires wisdom, and achieving it generates beautiful environments...
Humans are -mostly- WATER, we evaporate, we become clouds, breathe the breeze that we are, and nourish ourselves from those close to us, from the other in all its forms. Thinking that as water we inhabit plants and trees, or that we are in a bit of land, comforts me while also obliging me to think about the intrinsic commitment we have to nature and - therefore- to ourselves. We are not here temporarily; we are water: as changeable and transformable as we are enduring. The VILLAGE is a place that seeks to unite forms of coexistence and to nourish a basic idea
- TO PROVIDE SHELTER TO ITS INHABITANTS- It is this simplicity that gives character to a community.
There are villages of fishermen and villages of artists or thinkers; thanks to this, we eat better and -also- think more.
For many years now, at TALLER ARAGONÉS, we have been working on an idea that seeks to provide a better outcome to the way construction is done - not metaphorically speaking, but from the purest objectivity.
Through this, we discovered that ALUMINUM is an ecological, recyclable, resistant, lightweight, and almost perennial material, ideal not only for a soda or food container but also for construction. This led us to the idea of manufacturing and creating spaces with assemblable aluminum. The result was a robust, thermally efficient, low-maintenance house of much higher quality than those made using other traditional methods/materials.
Additionally, we achieved a very clean and
ecologically balanced work.
Humanity is just a few years away from achieving nuclear fusion. We will experience the unthinkable in terms of energy thanks to groups of people working in the same direction. We can no longer think as we did a century ago; it is time to understand our past to direct our present and better envision the future.
By uniting our aspirations with certainties, today we seck to build the
first ALUMINUM VILLAGE. Never before has a body created entirely from this material been a house; today, the idea of an entire village materializes, and it does so from the perspective of efficiency, quality, and the fundamental understanding that caring for the environment is caring for oneself.
