The Housing Revolution

Transforming the housing model is the goal of Pi.

To evolve means to bet on unprecedented innovation: PI, prefabricated intelligence — the furniture-home that breaks the housing paradigm and transforms into a livable object, a piece of furniture to live in where technique, technology, science, and art are within reach and at the service of people.

The cart became a car, evolving from horse power to the gasoline and solar engine; from the work of a carpenter to the machine and mass production.

The housing landscape must rise to new challenges: higher quality, lower cost, and better results.

Strong, lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant, recyclable, and capable of taking almost any shape, aluminum can achieve what other construction materials — such as brick and wood — cannot. Since its widespread emergence in the early 20th century, it has been the engine and fuel of modern architecture.

Technique is the capacity for execution. The home, the origin of city and culture, demands greater ease of construction, more services, higher quality, and a lower price.

PI, Aragonés's patented new aluminum technology, supports large glass spans, maximizes energy efficiency, and makes it possible to build prefabricated homes with a solid foundation of benefits: high quality, ultra-fast construction speed, excellent acoustic performance, low-cost construction, and minimal construction waste.

PI is a structure that works vertically (as a column), horizontally (as a beam or chain), or in combination, with additional pieces attached to achieve the final configuration. This modular construction system optimizes resources and reduces waste.

Ultra-lightweight — The average weight of most components is under 78 kg, allowing two people to handle them without the use of pulleys or heavy machinery.

Adjustable — It can be expanded or reduced, offering all the advantages of modular construction and the ability to conceive spaces that are adjustable both vertically and horizontally.

Innovative — The walls, based on overlapping panels, form the final finish that covers the layers of thermal and acoustic insulation. Electrical and plumbing installations are designed with screw-in and plug-in connections, eliminating the need for welding and complex connections.

Low Maintenance — Guarantees the highest construction quality in record time. It requires no paint, waterproofing, or anti-corrosive treatments.

Integral Quality — Allows for the integration of a thermal-acoustic system that reduces energy consumption to achieve an optimal level of comfort, whether or not a central climate control system is used.

Evolution is achieving the best result with the least energy consumed. Art also evolves. PI proves it.

Housing for well being

Designed and manufactured entirely in Mexico, Pi System was already a fully developed and proven solution when the Mexican government announced a deficit of one million homes that needed to be built within a few years at low cost and with high efficiency. The challenge demanded a radical rethinking of how housing is designed, built, and delivered — and Pi had already answered that call.

Pi is the first prefabricated aluminum home in history, built entirely from 100% recyclable components. Each structure can be fully assembled in just 21 days by a crew of seven people, with no heavy machinery required, significantly reducing physical strain on workers and eliminating costly equipment from the construction process. All components are transported directly to the site and unloaded by hand, minimizing logistics and keeping air transport to a bare minimum.

With a system already fully developed and proven, Pi presented itself as an immediately deployable solution to the government's housing challenge. Capable of delivering one million homes within three years, each unit arrives turnkey — furniture included — at a cost of under 650,000 Mexican pesos. A system ready to scale from day one, requiring no further development, no heavy infrastructure, and no lengthy implementation period.

Despite its accessible price point, Pi sets an unprecedented quality standard for housing at this cost, offering greater thermal efficiency than any traditional construction method, maximum savings in energy consumption, and near-zero maintenance requirements over time.

The government needed a solution that was fast, affordable, and scalable.
